Overview

Experience the thrill of deep-sea fishing off the coast of Watamu on a full-day fishing adventure. Depart early from the marina or designated meeting point and travel by boat to the fishing grounds, where you will spend approximately 3–4 hours fishing with the assistance of a professional crew. The waters offer opportunities to encounter species such as sailfish, marlin, tuna, kingfish and dorado. Enjoy scenic ocean views and the possibility of spotting dolphins and seabirds along the way. Please note that catching fish is not guaranteed and depends on weather, sea conditions, fish activity and other factors.

Tours generally begin early in the morning around 6:00–7:00 AM. Travel to the fishing grounds takes approximately 30–60 minutes depending on location and sea conditions. Fishing time is approximately 3–4 hours. A fish catch is not guaranteed and depends on weather, sea conditions, fish activity and other factors. Guests prone to seasickness should consider appropriate motion-sickness precautions. Bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses for sun protection. Wear comfortable clothing and non-slip shoes. Confirm whether food and drinks are provided before the excursion. Catch-and-release may be encouraged for certain species. Keeping a catch may be permitted depending on applicable fishing regulations. Some operators may offer catch preparation at a local restaurant for an additional cost.
