  1. Day 1 Full Day Itinerary

    Departure: Depart from the agreed pickup point in Mombasa and begin the city tour. An early morning or late afternoon departure is recommended to avoid the strongest midday heat. Pickup, City sightseeing, Tour briefing

    Travel to Destination: Travel to Mombasa Old Town and begin exploring the historic heart of the city. Walk through narrow streets featuring traditional Swahili architecture, historic buildings, local craft shops and cultural landmarks.     Main Activity: Explore Mombasa's major historical and cultural attractions, including Old Town, Fort Jesus, the Mombasa Tusks and a traditional local market such as Kongowea or Marikiti. At Fort Jesus, learn about the city's history and visit the museum inside the historic Portuguese-built fort. Continue to the Mombasa Tusks for photographs before experiencing local market life, spices, fruits and handicrafts. If time permits, an optional stop at Haller Park or a Mombasa beach such as Nyali or Bamburi may be included.
