Itinerary

2 days

  1. Day 1 Tsavo East National Park to Salt Lick, Taita Hills

    Depart early in the morning from your chosen starting location, such as Mombasa or Malindi, and travel to Tsavo East National Park. After entering the park, enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge, with opportunities to see Tsavo's wildlife and landscapes. Stop for lunch before continuing with an afternoon game drive in Tsavo East. Later, leave Tsavo East and travel towards Salt Lick Game Lodge in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation, with the opportunity to observe wildlife around the lodge's waterhole and salt lick.

  2. Day 2 Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Your Drop-off Location

    Start the day with an early morning game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, exploring the sanctuary while wildlife is most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast before choosing between a mid-morning game drive or leisure time at the lodge. Enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the sanctuary. After the afternoon wildlife experience, begin the return journey by road to your original or agreed drop-off location, arriving in the late afternoon or evening and marking the end of your safari.
